Alice Margaret Anderson

Alice Margaret Anderson died January 28, 2009.

She was born and raised in Chicago, graduating from Harper High School in 1936. Following high school, she attended college to become a seamstress. She enlisted in the Army in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps organization. She then met Leroy Anderson and they married June 1, 1946. They made their home in South Chicago where she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991; her daughter Evelyn Allsot in 1987; and her grandson Adam.

She is survived by her daughter Marjorie Sahr of Sedona, Arizona; her son Kenneth Anderson of Arlington Heights, Illinois; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.
