Betty Ann Arbogast, 69, passed away peacefully at her home on March
19, 2017.
Betty was born on Feb. 21, 1948 in La Plata, MD to Hubert Glenn
Robey Sr. and Betty Lou (Stinnett) Robey. She is survived by her son, Rob
(Corin) and granddaughters Elodie and Keely; her sister Hazel and
brothers Glenn, Tom, John, Mike, Chris, Larry, and Mark; as well as many
friends and loved ones in Maryland and Arizona.
Betty was a wonderful, kind, and caring person. She was a voracious
reader and enjoyed many mediums of art. During her adult life in Maryland
she worked in libraries, for school systems, and ultimately for the U.S.
government as a technical illustrator. After retiring from government, she
moved to Arizona to be closer to her grandchildren. This allowed her to
spend a great deal of time with Elodie and Keely. She adored her
grandchildren and enjoyed the time spent with them more than anything.
Bettys loving personality, sharp wit, and great sense of humor endeared
her to many. It was a joy to have her as a mother and she will be dearly
missed by all of her family and friends.
