Bettye Jean Wilson

Bettye Wilson, 65, of Sedona, died recently.
She was committed to Sedona Jazz on the Rocks. She also served on the board of the Verde Valley Sinfonietta.
She is survived by husband Ted; daughter Melani (Phil) Wilson Smith; grandchildren Peyton Ella and Wilson Coltrane; brothers, Julius and Helmar Hodges; and godmother Ollie Wheeler.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Aug. 16,
2 p.m. at Sedona Creative Life Center.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship will be established at Florida A&M University.
