Catalina Serrano

Catalina Serrano 94 years old (April 30,1930- August 30,2024)

She peacefully passed away in her sleep in Sedona, Az. She has lived in Sedona since 1974. She was born in Earlimart, CA to Candelaria Fernandez & Enrique Rueda. She grew up with 5 brothers and 3 sisters. The family had a bakery in Baja California which was the place she was raised. She had many stories of helping her dad in the bakery before going to school. In 1948 Catalina met the love of her life Caleb. They were married in 1950 where they loved each other until 2018 when Caleb went to heaven to save her the best spot. 

Catalina was preceded in death by her husband Caleb Serrano, her son Caleb Serrano Jr., granddaughter Etelvina Rodriguez, her parents and her 8 siblings. She is survived by children- Elsa (Louie), Nancy (Denny) Joel (Maritza), 8 grandchildren (Elsa, Catalina, Alicia, Caleb, Candace, Joel Jr., Samuel, Zachary) & 12 great grandchildren.

 She worked at a few places but where she excelled was real estate. This allowed her and Caleb to travel and spend time with their grandchildren. Catalina loved her plants and gardening. She loved Sedona, it was love at first sight. Her family was her motivation. She loved her children with all her heart. She also loved God.
