Cecily Macarthur

February 16, 1952 — November 18, 2014

Cecily MacArthur left this world peacefully at her home in Sedona on November 18, 2014 after bravely fighting cancer for seven years at the age of 62. Cecily grew up in Scituate, Mass where she cultivated her love of nature, art and sailing. She attended Thayer Academy in high school and was selected to live in India as an exchange student in her senior year. Cecily graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Fine Arts degree where she focused on her love of sculpting. Later, she went on to complete her Masters degree in Education. She had a very successful career as an Organizational Development, Change Management and Training Consultant for 25 years in the computer science and medical fields. After she was diagnosed with cancer Cecily transferred her skills and experience into a career as a life coach, motivational speaker and international Telesummit/Radio Host. She transformed her life and became an excellent role model for following your dreams and being true to yourself. Cecily left a 6 figure job, gave away all her worldly possessions, moved to Sedona, AZ to connect profoundly to nature, and devoted her life to helping people all over the world to be their most authentic self. Cecily tirelessly gave of herself to everyone she encountered to spread as much joy, laughter and love wherever she went. She has written several books to guide people along their spiritual journey along with a children's book, "Mrs. Madison's Magic Garden" to encourage children to discover who they are and not lose sight of their innate spiritual connection.

Cecily leaves her son Justin, sister Lauren, sister Holly, nieces Gabrielle, Buna, Alessandra, nephew Max, a grand niece and two grand nephews.
