Charles Skip Stewart of Sedona, Arizona

Skip was surrounded by his loved ones as he passed away on December 4, 2014 after a long 5 year battle with cancer.

Born in Charleston, South Carolina May 7, 1966, the family moved to Sedona in 1980. After Skip graduated from Mingus Union High School he began working in automotive at the Chevron station and then Sedona Tire and Auto where he worked for 20 years. As years moved on Skip became a licensed realtor, joining ReMax Sedona, then recently Russ Lyons Sothebys. Skip loved to hunt, fish, and go on family vacations: Cayman Islands, Glamus sand dunes, and most recently a cross-country trip to the East Coast " stopping to see family and friends along the way, creating memories that will not be forgotten.

Skip is survived by his loving wife, Lori; children, Jared, Brandon, Devon, Zachery, and daughter Ashley; mother, Patricia Dobrowolski; grandparents, Jim and Eleanor Connelly; sister, Jennifer Frenton; brothers Darrin Stewart and Chris Dobrowolski; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Stewart Sr. and his paternal grandparents.

Skip began his journey to Heaven when he became a member of the Village Park Baptist Church. He was baptized in 2013 by Pastor Randy Hafner. He accepted Jesus into his heart and his faith gave him comfort through his last days in this world.

A memorial service will be held at the Sedona Performing Arts Center located at Sedona Red Rock High School on Saturday, December 20, 2014 @ 11:00 AM.
