David Charles Perry

David C. Perry, age 71, passed away March 2, 2009, with his dear wife of 45 years, Barbara, at his side.

David was the loving father to daughter Kim (Ted) Abajian of Santa Barbara, California and sons Chris (Meg) Perry of Lakewood, Ohio and Brad (Nancy) Perry of Breckenridge, Colorado, and the beloved grandfather ("Pa") to his four grandchildren Alec, Kate, Emily, and Edan.

Upon receiving his Engineering Degree from Northwestern University, he embarked on a lengthy career with Johns Manville Corporation that took him to many places around the United States and Europe. David and Barbara raised their family in Monument, Colorado before moving to Sedona, Arizona in 1992 and opening the popular uptown Sedona gourmet food store known as "Olives and More". After many successful years of bringing tastes of Mediterranean olives and numerous other local, regional, and international food delicacies to the Sedona area, David and Barbara sold their business to further their pursuit of a life of travel, golf, and leisure together. David was an avid golfer and shared his love of golf along with his profound gift of humor and wit with his family and friends throughout his life. He enriched the lives of all who knew him and we will dearly miss him.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 10:00AM at the St. John Vianney Church.
