Elizabeth Hubertina Meyer

Elizabeth Hubertina Meyer of Cottonwood, AZ passed away in her sleep on January 29, 2024. She was surrounded by prayer and her loved ones at the time of her passing.  

Elizabeth was born on February 10, 1941 to Albert & Maria Geurts in Kerkrade City, The Netherlands, she was one of five children. Elizabeth completed college in Holland with a degree in business. After graduation, she built a life together with her husband Paul Meyer in the United States, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. 

Elizabeth dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother of four children and was the true foundation of our family. She filled our home with warmth and kindness and always provided a hearty meal for dinner. She embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength in spirit, generosity towards others and a deep love for her savior, Jesus Christ. 

She worked as an accountant at several companies but found true importance in teaching her grandchildren about the history and music from her Dutch heritage.
