Frederick Bolte
June 8, 1924- August 1, 2010
He was born in and was a resident of Hawaii until 1971. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Honolulu and after graduation entered an apprenticeship at Pearl Harbor Navy Yard at 17 years of age. He served in both the Army and the navy. He received a naval commendation for being present at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 He attended the University of Hawaii and the University of California, Berkeley and graduated in 1950 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Among his many careers he was Vice President of Honolulu Rapid Transit Co., was employed at Hawaii State Public Utilities, also Wilsey & Ham Consulting Firm, also Jones Tillson & Assoc. and had his own professional consulting business.
He is a life member of Masonic Hawaiian Lodge No.21 and on Oct. 17, 1945 he was raised to Sublime Degree of Master Mason. The years of 2000 & 2001 he served as the Worshipful Master of Red Rock Memorial Lodge No. 63 now known as Central Arizona Lodge No.14. Fred also was a member of the Scottish Rite, York Rite, Red Cross of Constantine, Aloha Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S. in Honolulu, HI. He was a member of Coulterville Lodge No. 104, I.O.O.F. and Coulterville Gold Chain Lions Club, both in California. He was a member of the Lake Don Pedro Volunteer Fire Company in California.
