Glenn Merle Bickford

Glenn M. Bickford, 86, of Sedona, passed away on February 9, 2009.

Glenn was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, on May 12, 1922, but grew up in Southern California. He proudly served as Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Then after finishing his education at Chapman University and the University of Southern California, he began his long career with the Los Angeles County Probation Department as Director of Adult Services. The family has lived in Sedona for 16 years.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Merle and Byrdie Bickford, brother Allen, and daughter Susan.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Elizabeth, and daughter Marcia.

Memorial services will be held at the Church of the Red Rocks, Sedona, on Saturday, February 21, at 3:00PM.
