Jerry Oliver Brandon passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, January 7th in Sedona, Arizona. He was born in Wolf Point, Montana on March 2, 1933 to Oliver "Red" Brandon and Ellen Marie Snortland. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Margaret; daughter, Victoria Brandon-Grorud of Portland, Oregon; son, KC Brandon of Tempe, Arizona. Vicki and KC gave him five grandchildren. His wife, Margaret, has 3 children, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom Jerry appreciated and adored. He is preceded in death by his brother, James Brandon in 1968 and his first wife, Carol Barter, in 1984. Jerry was raised in Vancouver, Washington and received a baseball scholarship from the University of Portland where he graduated in construction management. His working life focused on building most of the Bonneville power grid either as a construction worker, project manager or owner of two successful construction companies. In his leisure time, he enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing. A mass will be held on Friday, January 15th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Sedona at 10:00 AM. In support of Jerry's love for animals, donations in his memory can be made to the Humane Society of Sedona.
