John 'Randy' Richmond

November 17, 1946 — August 11, 2017

An excellent friend, an inspiring human being, and a person of enormous integrity has left the building. John Randolph (J. R. or Randy) Richmond of the Village of Oak Creek passed away in Flagstaff on August 11th. He will be deeply missed. As a counselor and mentor, he was unsurpassed and helped thousands of people in his life.

Randy was born on November 17, 1946 in New York and was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and John K. Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Blanding; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ron Shimaitis and their three children and eight grandchildren. His life was large, multi-faceted and impossible to capture in a few words. As those who knew him would say, he was larger than life. A great student of the human story and history, he was a Jungian, an Egyptologist, and an inspiring force in the Human Design community. With his passing, he would only wish that everyone honors their true selves as the most lasting tribute to him and the greatest help to all humanity.
