Mary Jo Carper

Born in Columbus, OH her family moved often during her childhood, but lived primarily in northern California. Mary Jo received her BA from Occidental College and her MA from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA. She was a physical education and special education teacher. Since she retired to Sedona, she has been active 13 years in CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).



Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and husband.



She is survived by her sons Scott Carper and his wife Min of San Jose, CA; Greg Carper and his wife Tiffany of Pleasanton, CA; grandsons Lucas and Adam; sister-in-law Maria Tillotson; and 10 nieces and nephews.
