Nancy Ruth Hauser

Nancy Hauser, 80, passed away on Friday, February 7th, surrounded by her son and daughter.

At the young age of 27, Nancy was widowed but faced this challenge with grace, dedicating herself to raising her children, Gary and Deb. Her love for them was her guiding force throughout her life. She made Sedona her home for almost 40 years and so loved the community. She loved to paint and was an accomplished artist. These last two years were filled with travel with her son and daughter to create lasting and wonderful memories. 

Nancy is survived by her son Gary Hauser, daughter Deb Hauser, sister Janet Mackey, and brother Samuel Mackey. Her family, friends, and all who knew her will remember her as a woman who put the needs of others before her own and gave endlessly to those she loved.

In honor of Nancy’s legacy, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Verde Valley Special Olympics Softball team, or the Special Olympics of Arizona. In both cases, please delegate "VERDE VALLEY" so that your generous donation is provided to the correct location. She loved the joy her son received in attending his softball practices and games the devotion of his beloved coaches and teammates for all these years. Seeing her son so happy made her happy as well. 

There will not be a public service per Nancy's wishes.
