FOX , Patricia G (Patty)
Passed away peacefully on October 1st 2015. She was born May 3rd 1928 in Duluth, Minnesota. She moved to Arizona at the age of 19, and attended the U of A. She met her husband Kel Fox in Cottonwood and they were married in 1950. After a union that lasted 48 years, Kel passed away in 1998. Patty is survived by her son Geoff ( Cathy), granddaughter Stacia , two grandsons, Bryce and Brett, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Grady (Lyn), and her grandson Stephen. Patty lived many happy years as a ranchers wife. She not only was a wonderful mother and homemaker, but took part in the riding and cattle work as well. She was as good a cowboy as there was on the ranch. She also was a long time Auxiliary volunteer at the Cottonwood hospital. For several years she was president of the State Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary Association. A lifelong person of faith, Patty ( along with Kel ) was a founding member of the Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona AZ. Her services will be held there October 13th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Church of the Red Rocks, 54 Bowstring Dr. Sedona AZ 86336, in the name of Patty Fox. Patty will be greatly missed by her surviving family and many friends that she has in the area and elsewhere. Her warm and compassionate personality will be remembered for years to come.
