Patricia Norman
Patricia Norman, age 99, passed away Monday April 22, 2024. She passed
peacefully at home with her daughter, Marybeth Rose, at her bedside.
Patricia was born August 26, 1924, in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Michael and
Cecilia Neuman. In Milwaukee she attended grade school, West High School, and
Mount Mary College where she studied nutrition. She left college to become a punch
press operator at Cutler-Hammer during WWII. In 1945 she married her high school
sweetheart Edward Fusso and had 3 children, Susan, Marybeth, and Tom. Edward died
in 1984. Patricia returned to Milwaukee where she met and married Bill Norman. They
retired to Sedona Arizona in 1992.
Patricia had many interests and accomplishments. She spent many years
working for the Defense Logistics Agency, monitoring military contracts. She was a Girl
Scout leader for both of her daughters and volunteered with the League of Women
Voters. In Sedona she volunteered at Red Rock State Park, Verde Valley Caregivers,
and the Sedona Community Center where she delivered Meal on Wheels. She was a
gifted seamstress and an avid golfer and bridge player. She loved camping and the
family went on many camping vacations. Pat and Bill discovered Rving after moving to
Arizona and she continued her camping adventures around the western USA.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Marybeth Rose, son Tom Fusso (Den
Fusso), her 7 stepchildren, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is
preceded in death by both husbands, Bill Norman and Ed Fusso as well as her daughter
Susan Fiala.
