Richard Francis Gregg

Richard Francis Gregg, age 97, died on June 9, 2016 at his home in Sedona, Arizona, with his wife and daughter at his side. Rich was born on June 3, 1919 in the City of Orange, State of California. He was the Owner of Gregg Auto Service in Santa Ana, California for many years and retired to Sedona in 1972, where he and his wife worked side by side building their dream home on Distant Drums Lane.

He served in the US Coast Guard during WWII, and in his retirement enjoyed oil painting, music, RVing, hiking, tennis and golf. He was taking piano lessons as well.

He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Bonnie G. Gregg, and his daughter Linda Gregg Christie, of Sedona, as well as 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Richard was predeceased by his daughter, Frances Gregg Vidal, and his sister, Margaret Bauer. He was a gentle and loving man and will be missed by all.
