Robert Fredrick Babson

Robert F. Babson, 97, of Lake Montezuma, a retired Regional Manager for Field Operations for ITT Flygt, died November 14, 2010 in Prescott Valley. He was born in N. Bennington, Vermont and was a veteran of WWII serving with the 37th Division. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and the Bronze Star and in 1945 was selected as an original member of General Douglas MacArthur's Honor Guard. He was a member of the Legion of Valor U.S.A. In 1993 he founded the Arizona Chapter of that organization and served as its first State Commander. He is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth in 2008. He was a member of the Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona. There will be no services.
