Timothy "Timm" Scott Platts, 56, died on Monday, January 12. He was born in York, Pennsylvania and has lived in Sedona since the early '90s. He was a devoted father, avid outdoorsman, creative chef, wood turner, and a dedicated foster of dogs making a huge impact on the animal rescue community in Sedona. He is deeply loved by his son, Symeon Platts, in his final year of school at U of A in Tucson; his mother Evadel Platts of York (PA); his brother George and wife Ronny Platts of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania; his sister Pamela and husband John Leonard of York; his sister Andrea Platts and husband Charles Kieffer of Reading, Pennsylvania; his life partner Diane Benedict of Sedona; and his recently adopted forever dog Alpine. Timm's talents, food, unique sense of humor, wit and charm will be missed by many. Services will be held in Pennsylvania. May he rest in peace. In lieu of flowers please donate to Golden Bone Rescue.
